The Asteroid Storm is a weapon unlocked at level 42.
It can be considered a successor to the previous Asteroids, and the predecessor of the more powerful FireStorm. It will call in an aistrike of four meteorites from above, each with reduced accuracy.
Usage[]
It's a good weapon, but unfortunately the random nature of the meteors will make it an inconsistent weapon choice, because there will be times that all meteors will strike the same region, whereas in other cases, each one will summon afar from the flare's final position.
Even with it's downsides, it can be used well. In areas with two or more enemies spaced away, there is a chance for every meteor to hit a enemy, distibuting the damage evenly towards the opposing team. The asteroids may even catch an eventual crate or two.
